OUR MISSION & VISION
South Atlanta is rising. The South Atlanta Reimagined Fund brings together residents, partners, and investment to transform possibility into progress and build thriving neighborhoods where opportunity, pride, and prosperity endure for generations.
A South Atlanta where every neighborhood is vibrant, every resident has the opportunity to thrive, and every investment strengthens the people and places that have long defined our community.

7 STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
Our work is organized around seven connected priorities. Together, they are intended to protect resident stability, strengthen neighborhood institutions, expand opportunity, and guide investment toward lasting community benefit.
01 HOUSING STABILITY AND ANTI-DISPLACEMENT
Protect legacy homeowners and renters, preserve affordability, improve existing housing, and expand mixed-income housing opportunities.
04 PUBLIC REALM AND QUALITY OF LIFE
Improve parks, lighting, sidewalks, streetscapes, gathering spaces, safety, beautification, and neighborhood identity.
02 COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR REVITALIZATION
Strengthen Jonesboro Road and surrounding commercial nodes through neighborhood-serving retail, local business support, and catalytic reuse.
05 YOUTH AND FAMILY OPPORTUNITY
Create stronger educational, recreational, creative, and workforce pathways for children, young people, and families.
03 COMMUNITY WEALTH BUILDING
Expand pathways to ownership, entrepreneurship, financial stability, workforce opportunity, and generational prosperity.
06 ARTS, CULTURE, AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Honor South Atlanta's history, culture, music, film, and civic assets as sources of identity, pride, and economic opportunity.
07 CAPITAL COORDINATION AND INSTITUTIONAL STEWARDSHIP
Build the governance, partnerships, funds, and systems needed to guide revitalization with discipline and accountability over time.
IMPACTFUL STORIES
"The rich history and great people make South Atlanta awesome! It is a hidden secret with great access. It is a friendly neighborhood. Everyone watches out for each other."
Darnisha C., Local Resident
"The neighborhood is changing for the better... Quite frankly, we're a diamond in the rough. [It has] incredible convenience—sitting just three miles south of downtown—and local anchors like EUE Screen Gems studios and the 77-acre South Bend Park."
Travon F., Local Resident
"As an APS graduate and a lifelong resident of South Atlanta, this work is deeply personal to me. I know firsthand the talent, resilience, and potential that exists in these neighborhoods."
